Tea and Manners

Hoop skirts, string ties and tea cups are all part of this innovative education program in which children are able to dress in reproductions of authentic 1850 costumes, learn the proper manners a young lady or gentleman would have
used and discover what games their ancestors would have played. This is a 60 minute program.

To schedule a reservation, call 304/645-3398. Please inform the museum staff
as to the program in which you wish your class to participate, the number of children in your class, and what day would be best for your visit. All school and youth tours must be accompanied by adult chaperones and/or teachers.
There is a $1.00 charge per student. Chaperones and teachers are not
charged an admission fee.
