Guided Tours:
Step back in time with a personalized tour led by our expert guides. Dive deep into the rich history and stories behind our exhibits and period rooms. Our guided tours provide an engaging and immersive experience, perfect for history enthusiasts and curious minds alike.

Available Monday through Saturday.
Admission: $5 per person (Free for children and GHS members)


Self-Guided Tours:
Explore our exhibits at your own pace, including Echoes of Slavery, Frazer's Star Hotel & Tavern Room, and The Road to Plenty. Free and open to the public.

Walking Tours: Must be scheduled in advance
Discover historic Lewisburg on a docent-led walking tour, covering key events and landmarks.
Admission: $10 per person (Minimum 5 people)

Specialty Tours:
  • Lewisburg History Walk: Explore the Town's Origins, Key Events, and Black History : Discover the rich history of downtown Lewisburg on this engaging one-mile walk. Explore the town's origins and pivotal events, visiting key historical sites along the way. Guides will also take you through the vast Black history of the town, visiting historically Black business buildings and churches, and sharing stories about the people who inhabited these places. This walk offers a comprehensive view of Lewisburg's diverse heritage, highlighting both the town's development and the significant contributions of its Black community.
  • Cemetery Walks: Guided tours of historic cemeteries.
