Anna Jackson

Anna Jackson, a Greenbrier County native, was born in 1896. She attended Lewisburg Colored Graded School before attending college. Anna taught at Lewisburg Colored Junior High, later Bolling High School, for forty-two years before her retirement in 1962. She taught mathematics and music, as well as working as the school's treasurer. Outside of the classroom, Anna was involved with educational organizations at both the local and state level, including the West Virginia Education Association.
